Vonora Natisha Lewis created The V.L. Foundation to provide an outlet to the youth, who have experienced the mental trauma of losing a loved one.

Our Mission
We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community by working on mental health. We direct that focus towards adolescents who have experienced loss due to the death or abandonment of a loved one.
2023 Walker Scholarship for the Advancement of Education
Congratulations to the 2023 Walker Scholarship for the Advancement of Education recipient Amari Childs! College is no stranger to her. While attending Charles Herbert Flowers High school, she attended Prince George's Community College. This fall she begins her journey at North Carolina A&T State University and will major in Business and Economics!
